AP-560 Analog Scope DataPHY

The AP-560 Analog Scope DataPHY is an Aircraft Interface Device (AID) which contains a Universal ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) Front-End that can be used as an oscilloscope and data-bus decoder for any data-bus protocol (ARINC-429, MIL-1553, ARINC-717, CAN Bus, etc.). In a 1 by 2 by 3 inch enclosure it is the world's smallest avionics data collection system.
The analog data collected by the ADC can be used to create a hardware signature which the SystemX Avionics IDS can use to detect unauthorized equipment installed on a data bus, and identify possible installation errors, and system degradation requiring maintenance.
Within a very small form factor, the Analog DataPHY contains two universal analog receivers, a Gigabit Ethernet interface, an 802.11ac WiFi Radio, an integrated antenna, and 120 GB of local storage.
Software applications are provided by the integrated SystemX Operating System which includes dozens of networking, cybersecurity, data collection, configuration management, and application hosting features.
The AP-560 is primarily intended to be used as a data recorder and AID, but with a customized version of the SystemX Operating System the AP-560 also supports many of the networking, security, data collection and management, and application hosting features provided by SystemX.

Avionics Data Recording
Voltages levels of data-bus signals are sampled at a rate that is higher than the actual data rate on the bus. This makes it possible to create a hardware signature for the transmitter which includes parameters like rise-time, over-shoot, and high and low voltage levels. Signatures can be used to identify unauthorized equipment, degradation of cables and connectors, and installation issues requiring maintenance.
Data-bus data can also be decoded and used in a manner similar to the standards specific DataPHYs.
Data collected by the AP-560 DataPHY can be transmitted to other SystemX based equipment and monitored as part of an Avionics Intrusion Detection System ,FDM/FOQA System, or preventative maintenance systems.
Electronic Flight Bag Data Source
The AP-560 collects data from Avionics interfaces, or from additional CCX Technologies DataPHY Data Recorders, and prepares it for consumption by modern digital tools. This AID can forward the collected data to EFB software running on a connected tablet. This device also processes and relays ACARS messages from onboard systems to EFB apps and airline ground systems, supporting operational messaging and flight plan management. The AP-555 ensures that information flows securely, reliably, and in real-time.
